Things You Can Do With A Toothpaste That You barely Knew

Things You Can Do With A Toothpaste That You Could Ever Imagine

You’ll be amazed to know how many benefits an ordinary toothpaste can provide. You can start considering your toothpaste a “Magic tube” because the miracles it can do for you are simply unbelievable.

The origin of toothpaste can be traced back to ancient Egyptian civilization when a mixture of myrrh, burned eggshells, pumice, ox-hoof ash and water was used for the first time to keep the teeth clean. The formulae got fame under the name of toothpaste in 1850s. The first collapsible toothpaste tube was introduced by Dr. Washington Sheffield in London in 1892. His son brought the idea from artists in Paris who used oil paints in metallic tubes. Later in 1896 Clogate and Company made the imitation of Sheffield’s collapsible tubes under the name of Colagte Ribbon Dental Cream.
The primary function of toothpaste is to maintain oral health; it keeps the cavities away and protects you from gum diseases. It is recommended to brush your teeth twice a day for at least 3 minutes. Ok! Enough with the use of toothpaste for teeth! It’s about time you take it out of your washroom and use it around your home. Don’t know how?

Here is how you can make use of this “Magic tube”:

1. Tooth paste as a hand sanitizer
Want to make your hands germ free? Take a drop of toothpaste and mix it with a little water, apply this mixture to your hands. The mixture would not only work as a disinfectant but would also help you get rid of the dreadful smell of the onions and garlic if you have diced one.

Piano Cleaner
Constant tickling on the ivory piano keys can turn them dirty. You can clean them up, the same way you clean your teeth. All you need is a brush and toothpaste, brush the keys of the piano well and then rub them with a damp cloth. If toothpaste can work on human teeth, it can also work well on elephant’s teeth (ivory). Toothpaste is equally good as a cleaner for modern pianos with plastic keys.

2. Fix Nail Holes
We know nail holes make your walls look bad and you might need some professional help to fix them. Wait! Try toothpaste. You can easily fill the nail holes with toothpaste, let it dry and touch it up with paint. Problem solved!

3. Excellent Stain Remover for Clothes
Ink, lipstick, ketchup! Dropped them on clothes? Don’t worry! Toothpaste will make these stains vanish in a minute. Just apply some tooth paste on these tough stains, scrub them, rinse well and poof! They are gone.
You can even clean up your carpet stains with the help of toothpaste in the same way.

4. Quick Remedy for Pimples
Need a quick remedy to treat those pimples? Simple! Apply toothpaste on the pimple at night and wash it in the morning. By morning, it will be gone. Toothpaste effectively absorbs the oil from the pimples, making them dry and flattens them. Keep in mind that this remedy shouldn’t be used more than once a week as it can make your skin over dry. Also do a patch test before applying as some people might get skin irritation by using it.

5. Makes your CDs Scratch less
Oops! There’s a scratch on your important CD. No problem! Put some toothpaste on it and wipe it off with a piece of clean cloth.

6. Tooth paste as Jewelry and Cutlery Cleaner
Now you don’t need to take your gold and diamond jewelry to the jewelry store to get them polished when you have toothpaste at your home. Take some toothpaste and brush your piece of jewelry with an old tooth brush, rinse with water. It will make them sparkling clean. You can clean up your silver cutlery in the similar way.

7. Can serve as your shoe polish
Toothpaste can serve as your shoe polish. It can help remove scuffs from your leather shoes. Apply some of it on the area that has been scuffed and rub it with a soft piece of cloth, then wipe off with a clean damp cloth. Your shoes will turn good as new. It can also clean the rubber area of your fleets or sneakers.

8. Works as crayon remover from walls
Your little one has been showing his art skills by drawing on the walls? Now you don’t need to cover that with paint. Just apply a little toothpaste on the area where crayons have been used and rub it with a damp rag.

9. Deodorize Baby Bottles
Baby bottles develop sour milk smell after being used constantly. To deodorize your baby’s bottle use a little toothpaste and scrub it really well with the bottle brush. Make sure you rinse it thoroughly afterwards.

10. Effective for Burns and Insect Bites
People working in kitchen usually get their fingers or hands burnt. Unfortunately, if it happens next time, put some toothpaste on the affected area. The key component, Eucalyptus found in toothpastes will soothe the burns. (Personal experience)
Insect bites are causing you itchiness? Apply some toothpaste over it. Toothpaste works well for flea, ants and mosquito bites.

11. Nail Cleaner
Next time you can do your manicure at home. At least you won’t need a professional help to fix your nails. The teeth and nails are made up of similar material. So just the way you clean your teeth you can clean your nails as well. Just switch your tooth brush with a nail brush and clean up those nails thoroughly.

12. Works as a Defogger
Professional swimmers use toothpaste to defog their swimming goggles. Just apply some toothpaste and rub with a clean damp cloth, they will turn clear.

13. Sticks Posters
Can’t find glue to paste those posters on the wall? No worries. Stick them up with toothpaste; it won’t even damage your walls.

14. Removes water marks
Need to get rid of those water mark rings that have spoiled your furniture? Use toothpaste. Rub the mark with soft cloth and it’ll be gone in a few seconds.

Picture Of The Day

I Support NBC’s Ban On Wizkid, Phyno & I Recommend More – Charles Novia

A few hours ago, the Nigerian Broadcasting Corporation came out with a list of NTBB songs (Not To Be Broadcast). Though such songs have been on the airwaves for months but I guess it’s better late than never. The songs are Wizkid’s ‘The Matter’ and Phyno’s ‘Man of the year’.

On social media, a predictable furor has been generated by the NBC’s action. Fans and friends of the concerned artists have been expressing their angst over the ban with some asking what yardstick was used in placing such a ban.

As amusing and sometimes annoying one finds some of those comments, which I think stem from an emotive viewpoint rather than logical, I have to pity such commentators because I believe they actually are the ones the songs have corrupted in the first place.

In Today’s entertainment sector, sex is king. The more sex the music videos suggest, the better for the artistes, music video directors and even the stations.

I have repeatedly screamed at various interactive music fora that these days, when watching the Nigerian television channels either on terrestrial or satellite bouquets, one cannot differentiate between the lewd music videos and soft porn!

It is also alarming and befuddling that many of the musical acts getting brand endorsements here and there are nothing to write home about when it comes to the lyrical content of their songs or the moral appropriateness of their music videos!

These young tusks sing blatantly about sex without giving a hoot about the most important audience of all; the children.

If they don’t know it, they should be told that children are quite impressionable and what goes into a child’s mind visually can either distort that child’s moral progression or improve on the child’s human development as time goes on.

But do SOME of these repressed reprobates in the music sector care? Not in the least! The more raunchy the music videos are, the better for the rascals.

Just to buttress my point, have you guys seen the way most Nigerian kids dance to some of these songs at children’s parties? It’s all about winding their waist and even tweaking much to either the amusement or amazement of their parents.

Yes, thanks to these accursed music videos, we are breeding a new generation of morally bankrupt youths who just need a little prod in their subconscious minds to become the future terrors of the New Republic of Sexual Nigeria! Mark my words.

And I won’t lay the blame on the artistes alone. The radio and television stations which fight over themselves to broadcast those songs and videos are as guilty in this regard. Perhaps too, the music video directors who come up with such concepts.

The NBC too is as hypocritical with these bans as it is sometimes inept. I would suggest a total overhaul of their monitoring unit, if my opinion is asked. I mean, why would they wait for months after such songs must have gained heavy rotation on radio and television before they use their hammer? What kind of crass dereliction of duty is that?

The relatively new Director-General of the NBC, Mr Emeka Mba, is well known to me. He just assumed duty a few weeks ago and I believe he should make it his duty to clean up the airwaves. And please, no double standards!

There are worse American and even African music videos and audio tracks ravaging our airwaves which the NBC don’t know jack about!

Some radio On Air Personalities take delight in playing some lewd songs with the ‘F’ word bleeped at times.

A few months back, I was driving in the same car with a Reverend Gentleman and we had one of those FM stations on the car radio that afternoon. Akon’s song with the chorus ‘ I wanna f**k you…f**k you out on the floor…’assaulted our ears. On radio? I had to join the shocked Reverend Father in making the sign of the cross even though I had switched to Pentecostalism years ago! Such was the shock.

We all have witnessed how Wizkid slyly came into the scene a few years ago. I use the word ‘slyly’ because his first single ‘Holla at your boy’ was a neat teen-pop track which was family friendly and won him a huge fan base across continents.

Having achieved his aim, his next couple of singles introduced the lyrical direction of his debut album. ‘Tease me’ was a daring post-pubescent song which extolled his plea for sexual freedom and also a blatant praise of his mojo. ‘Na me be the bad guys’ he crows.

The accompanying video to that track was as suggestively lewd with pole-dancing girls doing some randy stuff. The clean boy image of Wizkid took a back seat and thereon his handlers and producers tried to sell him as a post-teen sex symbol.

So, it was no surprise to the discerning ones amongst us when his new singles were laced with overtly raunchy suggestivism. Let us examine the lyrics of the banned single in question; ‘Back to the matter, open and close, touch your toes, oya baby..,’. Chai! May your children grow up in the ways of the Lord. I have nothing against the hard working Wizkid, in case some puerile minds begin to think in their usual template that ‘what’s Novia’s own?’ Or ‘He’s just jealous of Wizkid’s success’ which is a usual conclusion when critiques like these meant to correct an anomaly raise some dust.

I actually enjoy most of the young man’s clean songs as much as I abhor his lewd ones. This is basically a call to him and others of his ilk to go inwards and re-engineer their lyrics. Better still as Gbemi Olateru Olagbegi of Beat FM tweeted, they should go the extra mile in producing clean radio edit versions of some of their songs.

Phyno is one interesting rap artiste I have been studying. He joins the league of rappers who rap in native lingo, following the footsteps of his artistic heralders, 2Shotz and Dat NIGGA Raw.

Phyno understands the essence of showmanship and personal branding, what with his unique Mohawk hairstyle and his style of dressing.

I don’t understand Igbo very well but I have listened to the banned song ‘Man of the Year’ for controversial or lewd lyrics as well as his other songs. Here are some words I found:

Okereke okereke.. My guys no abaleke… N’ekperem ekpere Sika m fepu ka chekeleke Si mu kuwa k’elekera Na ezem k’ekelebe Ebughim otu mana m ga n’egbu ha ebelebe …something wey don enter don enter but if e nor gree enter, make you rub vaseline’

Please someone explain a bit to me about the meaning of some of his suggestivism in those words? I think that is why the NBC banned the song.

In any case, Phyno is one act to watch. I don’t really rate him as a fantastic emcee but he’s commercial and would go far…somehow.

There are some Nigeria music videos which I would personally recommend for non-broadcast and I hope the NBC takes note somehow. This recommendation is without fear or favour and I must state too that it does not in anyway detract from the amazing talents of the artistes who I give props to for raising the bar in their chosen field.

However, while they are raising the bar, I and millions of concerned parents are raising our kids so please ‘make una nor spoil my blues with una razz ragga’. Shikena.

Wande Coal’s ‘KICK’ video should be banned off the national television space. Seriously, have you seen the ladies shaking their bums in that video?

For the pious and piety men reading this, I would advise you not to bother checking it out. Especially if you just came out of a spititual fasting regimen like I had just done when I saw the video. Needless to say I resumed my fasting with more vigour after that.

If Timaya’s ‘shake your bum bum’ video was sexually provocative, Coal’s ‘Kick’ video gave a double provocation with two bum-shakers.

Olamide is a great musical act who is making waves at present. We all have watched his gradual ascent for the past couple of years and he has succeeded in filling a void left open by the late Dagrin. I have my reservations about his latest video ‘Durosoke’ but that is not the video I’m recommending for non-broadcast. There’s one he calls ‘Stupid love’ which I believe promotes alcoholic inebriation; which I presume to be against the broadcasting rules.

In the video, Olamide in almost every cut is seen clutching a green bottle suggestively filled with either rum or brandy or some strong coloured spirits. He takes deliberate swigs from the bottle and even chants at a point in the song about feeling ‘high’.

This video gets massive airplay on national stations. I think it should be yanked off.

Oh yes, some may argue that there’s no proof that the contents in that bottle is alcohol. Balderdash! Why don’t such people argue that the ‘yanshes’ they see in some of the music videos I mentioned above are harmless to the psyche of the children? And not only children too, come to think of it!

There are quite a few more I could recommend but why would I do the NBC’s job for them? Isn’t that one of their functions as a Commission? It is high time we cleaned up the airwaves. Let those who wish to listen to lewd songs or watch raunchy music videos do so on other media. It is a sin the way we corrupt the minds of our children in the name of artistic license.

The Dirtiest Things You Touch Every Day

http://tiwasblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/09/dirtiest_things_you_touch_everyday_18vbheu-18vbhf1.jpg

1. Money

Everybody loves money, but nobody loves the germs that comes along with it! Yuck.  The way to tackle this problem is easy: wash your hands.

2. Light Switch
Somebody’s got to do it, and usually it’s the last person in the room.. All the itty bitty germs love swirling around on the plastic switch that’s touched by millions of dirty fingers over the years add up to about 217 bacteria/square inch.

3. Computer Keyboard
The computer’s your friend (except when it freezes on you in the most pivotal moments of life) but its accompanying keyboard is a nemesis thriving with germs.. The only way to clean (or delete) this pile of cooties is to spray the keyboard with a can of compressed air and wipe with a cloth dipped in mild detergent.

4. Cell Phones
Forget the dog. Cell phones are a modern (wo)man’s best friend. Heck, the average person probably touches, taps, or strokes their or her cell phone more times than they pet their neglected pooch at home. Mobile phones are a technological petri dish for tens and thousands of germs, mainly due to the heat that they generate as well as the bacteria it shares with your hands and face. Next time, consider an anti-microbial coating for your phone or frequent anti-bacterial wipe-downs. Or sterile rubber gloves every time you touch or use your phone, always disposing of them in a furnace immediately afterward.

5. Toilet
Though the toilet seat has been good to you on many a bad days, its porcelain white surface is party-host to all sorts of diseases and viruses. Statistics show that there are 295 bacteria for every square inch of the cold, smooth surface. Though that’s not as bad as the 3.2 million on the toilet bowl, it’s still not a place to rest your head on at night – or in the morning.

6. Shopping Cart
Sorry to be a killjoy, but surfing down the grocery aisle just got a lot less fun. Think of every possible bacteria-filled thing a person can touch – well, once they hit their local supermarket, those things can also be found on the handle of any shopping cart. In fact, there may even be things on there that you haven’t touched. . So next time you’re at a supermarket, you might as well pick yourself up some Purell. Shop and squirt, shop and squirt…

7. Remote Control
How many times has ice cream splattered onto your remote control and you’ve just ignored it? Or even worse, smeared it across the surface into an expansive-but-barely-there layer? Add to that the MRSA, VRE and SARS bacteria that is easily transferable by touching TV remotes, and you’ve got yourself one soiled artifact. Next channel, please.

8. Bathtub
Sure, you’re all clean and spiffy, but what about your bathtub? The bathtub is home to many toxic bacterias that is often left unnoticed. That is, until someone in the family catches a staph infection, urinary tract infection, pneumonia, septicemia, or some form of a skin condition. Believe it or not, bacteria left lingering near the drain of a bathtub is worse than bacteria found in the toilet. By cleaning the bathtub with bathroom cleaner just once a week, you can minimize these unwanted germs (and illnesses) from you and your loved ones. Go on, give it a good rub-a-dub-dub.

9. Kitchen Sink
Contrary to popular opinion, the kitchen may actually be the dirtiest place in the house. Of course, that’s not including your dirty little brother Jimmy’s bedroom but that’s another story. Anyway, there’s typically 500,000 bacteria per square inch in the kitchen sink drain alone, so you can only imagine the total gunk with faucet handles and all. To solve the problem from the inside out, try pouring 1/2 cup baking soda and 1/2 cup of vinegar down the drain. Finally, rinse with hot water, and you just might hear your sink burp a clean gurgle of delight.

10. Kitchen Sponge
“NO! I TRUSTED YOU!!!”
Now it just seems like I’m messing with your head. But I’m not. It’s true. The very sponge that takes the grit off of your dishes and bathroom sink, is really the dirtiest of them all. The yellow and green icon of the kitchen is really a cozy home for germs. Its moist, micro-crevices make it harder to disinfect, so instead of wiping surfaces clean with a sponge, users are really just transferring bacteria from one place to another. An easy remedy is to microwave the sponge for 60 seconds–it improves the odor too!

11. Dirty Used Underwear
I don’t need to say much about underwear *dirty ones*. After putting on a boxer short for two days, you should expect it to carry dirt and germs, same goes to the women with panties. I would have made it number one on this list but here you have it. It is expected of you to wash your hands with clean water after handling your dirty underwear. And at the same time don’t wear the same underwear for more than two days for men while that of the women shouldn’t exceed one day! ITS DISGUSTING!!

Kate Henshaw Celebrates 20 Years In Nollywood.

Nollywood star, Kate Henshaw, presented a book titled, The World of an Actress: My Story, amidst fanfare and encomiums,in celebration of her 20 years as an actress on Tuesday at the Muson Centre, Lagos.
The memoir, which also doubles as a photo book, chronicles the actress’ humble beginning as a starlet, career highpoints, as well as the journey to fame.
With colleagues like Rita Dominic, Dakore Egbuson, Chidi Mokeme, Chioma Chukwuka,Ibinabo Fiberesima, Segun Arinze, Funke Akindele and Monalisa Chinda in attendance, it was an outpour of praise for Henshaw, as each one took time to praise one of their own.

Special guests at the event, which was anchored by ace Nollwyood actor and comedian, Basorge Tariah Jnr, include the First Lady of Ekiti State, Mrs.Bisi Fayemi; Managing Director, Promasidor Nigeria, Mr. Keith Richards; Managing Director/CEO, Heritage Bank, Ifie Sekibo; as well as representatives from Samsung Nigeria.
In her opening remarks, Mrs. Fayemi said the actress has remained committed to her craft since she first met her in 2006.  She also charged the Nollywood practitioners present on the need to represent the African woman right in their movies.

“Henshaw is a bundle of beauty, elegance, talent and grace. You are blessed with internal beauty, which is eternal. I am a huge fan of Nollywood and so I feel that regardless of what people say about the industry, it is still the best thing to happen to Nigeria.
I am also concerned about the portrayal and images of African women in popular culture as well as the way women are pathologised. They have productive careers and opportunities which need to be reflected in the movies.” Basorge, who has starred alongside Henshaw in various movies and soap operas, described the actress as a bundle of talent.
“Kate is talented, consistent, persistent, a big dreamer and fine interpreter. With this photobook, she celebrates her art in the direction it has led her.”
On her part, the visibly elated actress who studied Medical Biology at the University of Calabar, expressed gratitude at the turnout of colleagues and friends. She also paid homage to the late Nollywood actor, J.T Tom West, as one of the people behind her success today.

“I will never forget JT Tom West because he was the one who invited me to my first movie audition. For many of you who do not know, my career as an actress began with my first audition, When the sun sets in 1993. Since then, I have been in over 100 movies. Over the years, I have been involved in various charities like Project Alert on Violence Against Women, National Cervical Cancer Protection Council and most recently, The Global Initiative for Peace, Love and Care.
“I am also ready to be at the front of the battle and fight to ensure that there will be zero tolerance for violence against women and children. I intend to raise the much needed funds to support the charities I have mentioned with proceeds from the sale of the books.

Nollywood has lost many lives since we started and because I am somebody who loves to keep things, I hope that with this book, I will take you down from where we started to where we are going.”
Highpoints of the event include a video reel of the actress’ earliest movies which elicited some feeling of nostalgia from everyone present at the event.

Man Finds A Crocodile Hidden Under His Bed

It sounds like the stuff of nightmares - but Guy Whittall will certainly be checking for 'monsters' underneath his bed, after waking up to find an eight foot crocodile hiding just inches from where he slept.

The 330lbs giant had sneaked into the Humani lodge, Zimbabwe and spent the entire night lying quietly, just fractions beneath an oblivious Mr Whittall.

The beast - a Nile crocodile - had managed to stay hidden for more than eight hours overnight.

The following morning Mr Whittall - a former Zimbabwean cricketer -  had even perched on the edge of his bed, with his feet dangling over the edge, just inches from the crocodile's face, as he organised his day.

But the 40-year-old remained oblivious to his uninvited guest and was only alerted when he was enjoying some breakfast in the kitchen and heard the petrified screams of a housemaid.

Mr Whittall, who is a director at Humani, ran back to his room and was horrified to discover the enormous crocodile nestled under his bed.

He said: 'The really disconcerting thing about the whole episode is the fact that I was sitting on the edge of the bed that morning, bare foot and just centimetres away from the croc.

'Crocodiles are experts at hiding, that's why they have survived on Earth for so long and why they are the ultimate killers in water.
They know how to keep quiet and go unnoticed, it's in their nature.

'The crocodile came from the Turgwe River which is a couple of kilometres from the house.

'They often wander about the bush especially when it's cold and raining. I think he liked it under the bed because it was warm.'

He was forced to call in some of his co-workers who helped remove the crocodile from its new lair and release him back into Humani's Chigwidi dam.

Mr Whittall said: 'Of course he resisted being roped and hauled out from under the bed, that's only natural.

'Catching and securing a croc of any size on land though is a fairly straight forward affair and we are experienced in that.

The only real danger is getting bitten because it can't drown you.

'The most important thing is to get its snout roped and secured and then it's just a matter of restraining it and covering its eyes, to calm it down.

'Bigger crocs require more manpower obviously though. When roped they thrash around frantically and are extremely powerful.

'I just remember thinking "goodness gracious, that's one for the books".

'I'm pretty sure everyone in Humani checks under their bed before going to sleep now anyway.'

21-Year Old Unilag Student Wins Muslim World Beauty Pageant..

http://tiwasblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/09/aisha.jpg
A Nigerian, Obabiyi Aisha Ajibola, tearfully prayed and recited Koranic verses as she won a world beauty pageant exclusively for Muslim women in the Indonesian capital Wednesday, a riposte to the Miss World contest that has sparked hardline anger.

The 20 finalists, who were all required to wear headscarves, put on a glittering show for the final of Muslimah World, strolling up and down a catwalk in elaborately embroidered dresses and stilettos.
But the contestants from six countries were covered from head to foot, and as well as beauty they were judged on how well they recited Koranic verses and their views on Islam in the modern world.

After a show in front of an audience of mainly religious scholars and devout Muslims, a panel of judges picked Obabiyi Aishah Ajibola from Nigeria as the winner.

Eka Shanti, who founded the pageant three years ago after losing her job as a TV news anchor for refusing to remove her headscarf, bills the contest as “Islam’s answer to Miss World”.
“This year we deliberately held our event just before the Miss World final to show that there are alternative role models for Muslim women,” she told AFP.

Aisha received 25 million rupiah ($2,200) and trips to Mecca and India as prizes.http://tiwasblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/09/aisha-2.jpg

FG Plans To Ban Importation Of Vehicles In Nigeria

http://www.jaguda.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/Goodluck_jonathan3.jpg
THE Federal Government has revealed plans to ban importation of vehicles into the country, to encourage local production, even as revival efforts for the nation's moribund assembly plants were yet to be visible.

Besides, the government has stepped up moves to reposition the nation's transportation system, in line with its transformation agenda.

Already, the Nigeria Railway Corporation (NRC) has concluded arrangements to kick-off passenger service on the Eastern railway route before the end of December.

President Goodluck Jonathan stated these while declaring open the 2013 yearly national management conference of the Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM) in Uyo, Monday.

The President did not however state the time frame for the vehicle import ban programme.

He stressed that the efforts being made, especially in local vehicle production at Nnewi, Anambra State need to be encouraged.

Recently, the government directed its various organs to purchase vehicles made at the Nnewi plant, a gesture that was lauded by the Nigerian Automotive Manufacturers Association of Nigeria.

The Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Olusegun Aganga had earlier hinted of government's plan to create three automobile training centres and clusters at Lagos, Nnewi and Kano.

The training centres, according to Aganga, would be established in partnership with Brazil to train Nigerians in automobile maintenance and spare parts production, while the clusters would host new vehicle assembly plants.

The President said that the reform in the rail, airport and the maritime sectors were aimed at gaining the confidence of investors and to empower Nigerians.

The government's policy of economic inclusion, according to him, was designed to empower the less privileged and the unemployed through opportunities in agriculture and skills acquisitions.

"We can emphatically say that as a result of our economic policy, there have been significant improvement in our economic transformation drive," Jonathan said..

SEE 9 REASONS WHY YOU'RE STILL SINGLE

snatchzone.blogspot.com
You may be enjoying your freedom too much or simply be afraid of commitment.

1. Your standards are too high.

One of the most frequent reasons why some women are still single is because they set the bar too high For guys to check on them. It’s great to have high standards. Under no circumstances should you settle for less than you deserve. However, make sure your standards are realistic, these could help alot.

2. You’re too negative.

Are you pessimistic or do you always find something to complain about anything comes up? Such an attitude would certainly explain why you are still single. No man is going to want a relationship with a woman who is never pleased or who sees the world through dark-tinted glasses.

3. You’re going after the wrong guy.

It’s the old story. Many women are still single because they’re constantly going after the wrong guy. If you find yourself constantly drawn to the charming debonair type of man, bear in mind such men love the thrill of the chase and will definitely not be in it for the long haul.

4. You’re not a good listener.

Most of us don’t know how to listen. You should take in not only what people say, but also how they say it – body language, tone, eye contact, movements of the tonque etc. More often than not, what is conveyed non-verbally is more important than what is actually said.

5. You don’t take care of yourself.

Trust us, men do care about this. We’re not saying you should look straight out of a photo shoot, but basic things like keeping fit, wearing nice clothes and a bit of makeup do help. If your usual look is a casual outfit and no makeup, don’t ask yourself why you’re still single.

6. You’re hung up on an ex.

A common reason why some women are still single is the fact they haven’t given up on an ex. Whether you’re still seeing him on and off or still fantasize about him, being hung up on an ex is preventing you from opening up to the promise of a new relationship.

7. You’re being judgmental and insecure.

Men do not feel at ease around women who are judgmental of other people. Such an attitude is usually an expression of insecurity, which is certainly not an appealing quality in either sex.

8. You don’t actually want a relationship.

Whether you admit it or not, you may actually be still single because, deep down, that’s how you prefer it. You may be enjoying your freedom too much or simply be afraid of commitment, on hooking up with aguy you find it diffcult thinking he mit take away your freedom, it doesnt work that way be attracted to people you think can tolerate you.

9. Know what you want.
Many of you dont follow your hearts, always go for guys that loves you and you actually have little feeling for as time goes, you would be amazed to see yourself failing in love..
